  Saraa is a really helpful lady and she helped us organize (quickly!) a horseback trip to Northern Mongolia. In one day since we met her she organized for us: a guide with horses, border permits and a driver to get us there. Her guesthouse is also nice and has a hot shower! She speaks good English which makes everything so much simpler!

  If you come to Mörön to experience Mongolian life and see amazing landscapes, then you should definitely stay at Saraa's place. Saraa is very hard working and generous. She manages great tours and visits. I stayed at her place as a volunteer for a month and I had the chance to live with her nice family in quite confortable conditions. If you come to Mörön expecting a five star hotel and a sterilized experience, then maybe try some other place! Thank you Saraa for this month and best of luck for all your future projects.

  I'm surprised to see any bad comments about this place...I travelled one month in Mongolia and Saraa's Guest House is surely a very good place to stay at ! "shower needs improving" some say, well...you're in northern Mongolia and many places do'n't offer shower at all ! "disappointed about the Tsataan tour" others commented...as if going to see the Tsataan was like going to Disneyland to see a bunch of animals... Seriously -_-'. I would definitely recommend staying with Saraa and her family, excellent mongolian food, shower during summer, and she will make the best of your tours to Khovsgol Lake and the reindeers family I have no doubt about that ! Thanks for the amazing experience Saraa !

  15.000 for a bed in a dorm with breakfast. It's clean enough. The shower needs improving, hot water merely drips. The breakfast is simple (eggs and bread) but OK. No running water (like in most of Mongolia) so food hygiene is questionable.

  The guesthouse is clean and comfortable; Saraa and the rest of the staff (and the kids!) are very kind. I was surprised to meet so many travelers from all over the world there! Each stay includes free breakfast (eggs and toast with jam) and hot showers (the water is boiling hot and drips out--does the job but not a real shower). The guesthouse apparently also doubles as an English classroom for local children (for which you can volunteer). Saraa arranges visits to the West and East Taiga to visit the reindeer herders near the Russian border; my trip to the West Taiga was something I'll never forget, and Saraa was tremendously helpful in making that happen.
